AWGA offers beginner golf lessons for women and Level II classes

The Arizona Women’s Golf Association in partnership with the Southwest Section PGA is offering a series of lessons to help women get started in the game of golf and feel comfortable on the course. The “Ambassador Program” pairs PGA/LPGA golf teaching professionals with amateur women players from the AWGA to give new golfers a well-rounded learning experience. Classes consist of one hour with the Pro and time after the class with the Ambassadors to learn etiquette on the course. This 6-week program is conveniently held on Saturdays at most locations. To register online, go to www.awga.org and click on “AWGA Ambassador Program.” Choose a course to begin the registration process online. Registration forms may also be downloaded or obtained at each participating course. Note: The October 31st lessons can be entered into late with no problem.
