Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia...

To host fourth annual Chaplaincy for the Homeless Charity Golf Tournament May 16

Blackstone Country Club, located within the 7,100-acre master planned community of Vistancia in Peoria, will host the fourth annual Chaplaincy for the Homeless Charity Golf Tournament with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., May 16.

Since 1988, the Chaplaincy for the Homeless has helped the homeless replace the identification documents they need to find work, housing, medical and other assistance. These documents enable them to begin their escape from the street and to rebuild proactive, happy lives.

Cost to enter is $150 per player and includes golf, cart, lunch and prizes. Registration and lunch are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Blackstone Country Club.

Registration and tournament information is available at www.azhomeless.org.  Call 623.707.8710 or email twilcox@blackstoneccaz.com for additional event details.

Event participants will experience the award-winning Jim Engh-designed course featuring dramatic terrain with deep, chiseled channels and sheer rock faces, while offering much needed support for the local community.

Named for the volcanic rock indigenous to the area, the Blackstone Country Club golf course features elevation changes on every hole, panoramic mountain views and a pristine natural desert backdrop.

Blackstone Country Club’s private golf course is a four-time Golf Digest national award winner and was ranked No. 2 “Best Private Golf Courses” by Ranking Arizona in 2014

Blackstone Country Club is located within the private, gated community of Blackstone at Vistancia in Peoria. Take Loop 303 to the Lone Mountain Parkway (exit 127). Visit www.blackstonecountryclub.com for more information.
