Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia to host Fifth Annual Singleton Moms fundraising golf event April 13

Blackstone Country Club Hole #3

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in Peoria, will host the Fifth Annual Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., April 13, to raise funds for local single parents who are battling cancer.

Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer. The non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.

Cost to enter is $150 per player. Registration and a continental breakfast are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 a.m. An awards lunch with a silent auction follows the tournament at 1:30 p.m. at Blackstone Country Club. Silent auction items will include a Masters flag from the 2014 tournament signed by Bubba Watson and golf trips to Torreon and Pinetop in the White Mountains, and Sedona Golf Resort and Seven Canyons in Sedona.

Event participants will experience the award-winning Jim Engh designed course featuring dramatic terrain with deep, chiseled channels and sheer rock faces, while offering much-needed support for the local community.

Lunch only tickets are available for non-golfers at $25 to enjoy lunch and the silent auction at the beautifully designed Blackstone Country Club.
