Scott Sackett offers private lessons at The Rim in Payson during the summer months

Scott SackettScott Sackett, GOLF Magazine’s “Top 100 Teachers” announced his return to the No. 1 rated residential golf course in the Southwest. The Rim Club in Payson, Arizona, is Golfweek Magazine’s Southwest’s top choice for three years in a row and is No. 1 in Arizona.  

Starting April 30, 2010 Scott Sackett will be holding private lessons and golf clinics at The Rim up to four days a week during the summer months. For the second season this exclusive “members only” par-71 course, will allow students to not only take private lessons at the course with breathtaking views of the Mongolian Rim, but as the new Director of Instruction, Sackett’s students will also have the luxury of playing The Rim Club.

Bobby Trunzo, Director of Golf, at The Rim, states,” We are very excited having Scott return for a second season. He brings our members state-of-the-art teaching with class and professionalism. The Rim Club is approximately an hour and fifteen-minutes from Scottsdale going north on the scenic Beeline Highway, State Route 87. 

Sackett’s new program will include one-hour private lessons for adults at $125.00 an hour and $85 for juniors. He will also host all of The Rim members’ clinics. 

“You will never experience more beautiful views during a round of golf,” Sackett claims. “I’m excited about sharing the love of golf and the beauty of The Rim with all my students.”
