Kids Golf Bank launches new website providing free golf for kids

Growing the game of golf. One kid at a time.

The Kids Golf Bank – an organization designed to grow the game of golf – announced the launch of their new website which allows youngsters in the Phoenix metropolitan area to play golf for free.

The program works as follows: donations may be made through the Kids Golf Bank website (www.kidsgolfbank.com) in the form of practice sessions, lessons, or rounds of golf at a partnering course of the donor’s choosing. When donations are made, funds go to a local junior golf association, such as The First Tee of Phoenix, which present a voucher to their students that can be redeemed at the participating course. Donors can also choose to give block amounts directly to the Kids Golf Bank or purchase an annual membership to The First Tee of Phoenix. One hundred percent of all donations goes directly to the kids.

To date, seven courses have partnered with the Kids Golf Bank including Biltmore GC, Augusta Ranch GC, Bear Creek, Coldwater GC, Legacy GC, Wigwam GC and Lone Tree GC.

Through coordination between junior golf organizations, golf facilities, golf industry leaders and individual donors, the Kids Golf Bank provides young golfers with free lessons, practice sessions and rounds of golf at participating courses with the goal of growing the game of golf, breaking down financial barriers and instilling the valuable lessons the game of golf teaches.
