Sedona Golf Resort hosts the Sedona Bike & Brew Festival August 28-29

Sedona Golf Resort and OB Sports announced that Sedona Golf Resort will be the host of the 2nd Annual Sedona Bike & Brew Festival August 28th – 29th 2015. The Sedona Bike & Brew, believed to be the first of its kind, is a Mountain Bike Race that will be hosted on the Golf Course.

The event will start on Friday August 28th with rider registration, a leisurely group ride so that the racers can see the track for the first time, and then an optional short track race. The 6-mile course will take the riders over all 18 holes, 80 acres of fairways, tee boxes, cart paths, natural and manmade features. Afterwards, the Juniper Bar & Grille, (Sedona Golf Resort’s restaurant) will be hosting dinner along with music and Four Peaks Brewery (Tempe, AZ) & Oak Creek Brewing Company (Sedona, AZ) will be pouring 8-10 of their local craft beers. Time Trials will start Saturday morning, August 29th at 8 AM, and will include 6 different classifications for men, women and juniors. Racing will conclude with an awards ceremony, music, food, drink and silent auction benefiting the Verde Valley Cyclists Coalition Trail Fund.

The Sedona Community is encouraged to come out Friday & Saturday to cheer on the racers. There is no admission fee for the general public and food and drink will be available for purchase.
