“Raise Some Green on the Green” golf tournament to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, May 17

As part of Ronald McDonald House’s 25th anniversary celebration, golfers from around the Valley will tee it up on May 17 to “Raise Some Green on the Green” for Ronald McDonald House Charities at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, in Peoria.

A 1 p.m. shotgun start is planned for the 18-hole tournament organized by Tomorrow’s Leaders, a group of young businesspeople in the Valley who support RMHC through fund-raising events and other activities. The 19th Hole Dinner Reception and Awards begins at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities and co-beneficiary Golden State Foods Foundation. Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge is sponsoring the Hole-In-One Contest.

Individual registration is $150 and includes greens fees, golf cart, event gift, dinner and awards, and raffle. Foursomes are $500. Sponsorships begin at $300.

Last year, the event raised nearly $40,000 to help cover expenses for families staying at the two Ronald McDonald Houses in Phoenix while their children underwent medical care in the Valley.
