The First Tee of Phoenix receives grant from Executive Council Charities 

The First Tee of Phoenix, owned and operated by The Thunderbirds, announced they will receive a $5,000 grant from Executive Council Charities (ECC). The 2015 ECC Grant Process received over 100 applications. 

“We’re delighted to see so many organizations support our chapter,” said Kevin Terry, Executive Director, The First Tee of Phoenix. “ECC’s contribution to The First Tee of Phoenix will help tremendously, and their commitment to support local youth mirrors our goal to promote learning through the game of golf.”

Executive Council Charities is an Arizona nonprofit corporation which provides grants to programs and charity organizations focused on helping youth in Arizona overcome adversity.

“With so many requests, it is a challenging job for our Giving Committee to analyze each application,” said Chris Marshall, Executive Director of the ECC. “I am pleased to announce The First Tee of Phoenix application was well received and we are thrilled to continue our support for the cause.”
