Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia raises $57,000 for Singleton Moms fundraising golf event

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia’s annual Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament raised $57,000, with an attendance of 92 golfers at this year’s event, to provide funds for local single parents who are battling cancer. Blackstone Country Club has raised more than $284,000 for Singleton Mom’s since 2011.

This year marked the sixth tournament hosted by Blackstone Country Club, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in Peoria. The Singleton Moms non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.

Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer.

Blackstone Country Club members and local businesses donated to play the award-winning Jim Engh designed championship golf course, enjoyed an awards lunch and a silent auction at the club.

The club’s private golf course is a four-time Golf Digest national award winner and was ranked No. 2 “Best Private Golf Courses” by Ranking Arizona.

The Club is located within the private, gated community of Blackstone at Vistancia in Peoria. Take Loop 303 to the Lone Mountain Parkway (exit 127). Visit www.blackstonecountryclub.com for more information.
