Sixty two-person teams represented their home clubs in the Finals, and battled in both gross and net divisions with the eventual champions determined by just one shot in each division.

The Troon Challenge is a series of amateur golf tournaments held at world-class Troon® facilities across the United States. Beginning in April and running through August, more than 520 two-person teams competed in regional qualifying events for the right to compete in the Troon Challenge National Finals in Scottsdale, September 9-11, 2016.
