The Boulders announces new Director of Golf Club Operations

Ryan McKay has been appointed Director of Club Operations at the Boulders Resort, named one of the nation’s finest golf resorts in the country. In his new position, McKay will oversee the golf programs, golf shop operations, golf course maintenance, tennis operations and the Boulders Club membership. He will supervise a staff of more than 40. 

“My goal is to elevate the Boulders stellar golf experience to an even higher level with new technology, new golf academy programs and a new golf caddie program. I’m also pleased to be part of the Boulder’s newly-renovated clubhouse facility that will be unveiled by the end of the year,” stated McKay.   

McKay joins the Boulders, most recently, from the Phoenician Resort where he held the title of Director of Golf & Tennis, for twelve years. Earlier in his career, he served as Head Golf Professional at Troon North Golf Club for seven years. A golf enthusiast since the age of 8 yrs., he is a Colorado native but grew up in Caspar, Wyoming playing junior golf.

McKay graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is an A-Class Head Professional and a current member of the Professional Golf Association of America. He resides in Phoenix with his wife Kristina and their three children.
