AT&T saw record-breaking data usage at Waste Management Phoenix Open

A record-breaking number of more than 655,434 fans went to the Waste Management Phoenix Open this year, up nearly 6% from 2016. More fans means more social media activity, and AT&T saw record-breaking amounts of data usage as well.

This year, AT&T customers used 9.1 terabytes (TB) of data. That’s more than 60% more data used compared to 2016 (5.6 TB).

What does that mean? To give you some perspective, 9.1 TB is equivalent to more than 26 million selfies.
