The First Tee of Phoenix adds two members to Board of Directors

The First Tee of Phoenix, owned and operated by The Thunderbirds, announced the addition of two new members to their Board of Directors. Stacey Solheim Pauwels of PING and Debbie Waitkus of Golf for Cause LLC will assume board member responsibilities immediately.

Stacey Solheim Pauwels is an executive Vice President of PING, Inc. Her responsibilities include oversight of all PING’s women-specific products, human resources and corporate administrative functions. She holds a master of science degree in corporate finance from Golden Gate University and a bachelor of science from Arizona State University in global business.

Debbie Waitkus is the President and Founder of Golf for Cause, as well as a Founder and managing partner of the National Women’s Golf Alliance, which evaluates and certifies golf facilities for how well they “Roll Out the Green Carpet ™” for women. She is also the past president of Women in the Golf Industry and sits on the National Golf Course Owners Association Arizona Advisory Board. Prior to founding Golf for Cause LLC, Waitkus was president of a 37-year-old, $130 million private mortgage banking firm.
