Palm Valley Golf Club, located in the heart of the West Valley, is proud to announce the new and highly anticipated WEST Course is now open for play. With the opening of this new layout, the facility has completed its transformation into a 27-Hole Championship Facility operating with three distinct 9-hole layouts that can be combined to make up three different 18-hole Courses. The already amazing facility, home of Championship Golf, extensive practice facilities, beautiful event and banquet options, and the ever-popular Fairway Grille, Palm Valley has now solidified its place in the West Valley golf scene with its new 27 Hole Layout as one of the most complete facilities available.

The WEST Course (formerly known as the Lakes Course) offers an amazing blend of past and present as you play through this great new par 35 Championship layout. With water in play on 7 of the 9 holes, the WEST Course becomes your desert oasis here in the West Valley! The new layouts’ design and inspiration comes from Course Architect Mike Angus of Phil Mickelson Design. The transformation into this new parkland layout involved expanding numerous turf areas, reshaping mounds and surrounds, opening access to the many lakes throughout the layout, a complete bunker renovation, all new tee complexes, and redesigning holes to connect the past executive layout with a new Championship length layout. What’s left is a wonderful layout that offers a true test for the better players while remaining friendly and enjoyable for those that are simply looking to have a great time with great company. Those that have played the former Lakes Course will love the apparent changes and will marvel at the work that has been completed in the short 10-month renovation.

The new WEST Course has opened to rave reviews with golfers loving the changes and updates that have been completed. “The park-like layout is perfect and the sight lines over and around the lakes are beautiful,” one golfer was quoted as saying. “We are amazed at how much was changed in the short time the course was closed. The new course is simply a beautiful test of golf,” another golfer was quoted as saying.

The new 27 Hole Layout will be comprised of the following course options:

NORTH/SOUTH Course – Par 72
The North/South Course was formerly known as the existing Palms Course designed by renowned Course Architect Arthur Hills and is a highly rated West Valley Layout. 

SOUTH/WEST Course – Par 71
The South/West Course combines the Front 9 of the existing/former Palms Course with the new West Course 9 Hole Layout.  

WEST/NORTH – Par 71
The West/North Course combines the new West Course 9 Hole Layout with the existing/former Palms Back 9.
