Southwest Section PGA new Digital Golf Pass now on sale

The Southwest Section PGA announced their 2019 Golf Pass is now on sale, offering exclusive rates on tee times, retail and dining at 45 of the best golf courses across Arizona and southern Nevada. The 2019 Golf Pass has been upgraded from previous models to be offered digitally, and provides special rates and golf discounts only available to SWPGA pass holders. The pass is available for $99 at

“Technology continues to afford more options, ease and freedom to the golfer, and we wanted our new pass to reflect the current state of the game,” said Michael Miller, executive director of the SWPGA. “The 2019 SWPGA Digital Golf Pass simply provides opportunities for more people to play more golf at an affordable rate.”

Instead of a physical golf discount card or paper passbooks, the SWPGA Digital Golf Pass allows pass holders to view all deals – from all participating courses – within the region at dozens of the best golf courses in Arizona and Nevada. The SWPGA plans to add more courses throughout the year. Players can choose a specific golf course within the digital platform to see all deals available to that golfer including discounted green fees, retail items, dining and more. Players can then redeem the deal at the touch of a button and show their mobile device to the golf course operator at check-in. Players may also elect to print the discount from their home computer. Deals are regularly updated by each participating golf course, giving players an opportunity to try different courses at exclusive rates only available to SWPGA pass holders.

“Our previous model provided a great way for our pass holders to enjoy affordable golf, but our new pass can offer so much more,” Miller continued. “We want to provide the flexibility to choose the best deal for them each week, not just a one-time flat fee at their closest course. We expect this model to empower the golfer, not tee-time packaging companies or booking behemoths.”
