Prepare yourself for an unparalleled golfing experience at Mountain Brook Golf Club. Test your accuracy with winding fairways, water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens which place a premium on club selection. Look no further for everything you need to challenge and improve your game.

Golfers of all abilities are sure to enjoy the variety of holes with multiple teeing areas allowing the course to be played as short as 5100 yards or as long as 6700 yards, complemented by amazing views of the Superstition Mountains everywhere you look!

“Mountain Brook Golf Club has a great deal of character and charm,” says current member, Stephen B. He continues with, “It is a true hidden gem many golfers overlook, they are missing out!”

Mountain Brook Golf Club is under new ownership, with the new owners far from new to golf in the Valley of the Sun! They have added Mountain Brook to their portfolio, which currently consists of Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona; Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club in Cave Creek, Arizona; and Geneva Golf Club in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Improvements will be noticed before you get out of your car, with a new bag drop location and an emphasis on customer service upon arrival and throughout your day at Mountain Brook Golf Club. Managing Partner, Ryan Thompson places a premium on playing surfaces and customer service. The golf course has been overseeded wall-to-wall, which eliminates the dormant rough golfers struggle to hit shots out of. With an increased awareness from the staff, pace of play problems that haunted the course for years were instantly eliminated.

Upon your arrival, you will appreciate the well appointed golf shop with many new brands. In addition to the enhanced offering in the golf shop, the restaurant has been given a dramatic facelift and The Prospector will now offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. The expansive patio offers views of the Superstition Mountains and the finishes of raw wood, exposed brick, metal and camp lighting pay homage to the prospectors that lived and worked in the nearby Superstitions. Lunch offerings range from healthy fresh house salads to comfort food with a 1/2 pound BYOB (Build Your Own Burger) made from a signature Brisket blend. Dinner entrees served five nights per week have great mainstays with lemon salmon and braised short ribs, to name a few options you foodies will appreciate.

Since taking ownership in early August, Thompson has been very focused on improving the playing surfaces and the membership has noticed. Who doesn’t appreciate greens with great speed and a consistent roll? The putting surfaces are playing the best they have in many years, according to one of the long-time members! As of January of this year, all guests will experience the complete bunker renovation. Now golfers will be able to splash the ball out and have it land softly on the greens like a butterfly with sore feet.

The improvements to the entire facility are noticeable by all of the Club’s guests. The most recent accolade came from Golf Advisor, ranking Mountain Brook Golf Club as the 9th Most Improved Course Nationally. This ranking came directly from golfers sharing their experience and comments.

Mountain Brook Golf Club is home to a very unique feature that many people are unaware of, their 12 acre short game area designed by Phil Mickelson. The revitalized short game area will allow the Club to rival any practice area in the East Valley. For a daily fee, you can experience your own personal short game area.  Work on your short chips around the green, 50 yard approaches out of various lies and any bunker shot you could possibly imagine!

Located at the base of the Superstition Mountains at 5783 South Mountainbrook Drive in Gold Canyon, Arizona, Mountain Brook Golf Club is open for public play as well as offering membership options. Their golf academy offers private as well as group lessons.
