OB Sports Golf Management, the recognized leader in boutique golf management, announced the addition of a new Landscape services division and the appointment of Luke Beardmore as the Vice President of Landscape and Turf Care.
For nearly four decades, OB Sports has been maintaining some of the country’s most spectacular golf courses and now they are taking that knowledge and skill set from the golf course corridors to the community and other commercial developments. OB Sports Landscape will include comprehensive landscape services including the management and maintenance of HOA common space within master planned communities as well as other commercial developments.
To head up this effort, OB Sports appointed Luke Beardmore as the Vice President of Landscape & Turf Care for this new division of the company. Luke’s background includes extensive experience with landscape and landscape management. Prior to his appointment, Luke built and managed a landscape maintenance company for Blue Star Golf & Resorts that in three years grew to over $4 million dollars in total revenue annually. The landscape maintenance contracts that Luke has overseen have included many award winning projects including one being honored as the “Top Master Planned Community in the US”. In addition to his Landscape management experience, Luke brings over 15 years of experience in golf course construction, golf course renovations and agronomic experience. Luke’s agronomic resume includes the direction of numerous clubs throughout the United States and Canada. Clubs under his direction have hosted the President’s Cup, PGA Tour events, the Skins Game and Nationwide Tour events.
A native of Ontario, Canada, Luke earned an honors degree in Sports Administration from the University of Windsor. Luke, his wife and two sons live in North Phoenix, Arizona.
