Golf Woman of the Year

Birdy & Grace announces panel of judges for national contest

Birdy & Grace recently announced the panel of judges for its second annual “Golf Woman of the Year” contest.

Selecting the 2011 winner will be Marty Hackel, Fashion Director and style guru of Golf Digest magazine; Hannah Storm, Co-Host ESPN Sports Center, Advocate, Author and Producer; Ann Liguori, Sports Radio and Television Broadcaster, and Katherine Dyson, renowned freelance golf and travel writer.

Birdy & Grace created the “Golf Woman of the Year” contest in 2010 to celebrate amateur women golfers who have a passion for golf, family, and their community and who have inspired or helped others. The winner will receive a trip to New York and participate in a photo shoot with a top fashion photography team. She will be showcased as a feature model in a forthcoming Birdy & Grace collection catalogue and receive other prizes.

Founded in 2007, by Sharon Sunoo and Teress Stephens, Birdy & Grace identified a need among discerning women golfers who wanted distinctive clothes that easily transitioned from the golf course to the concourse. The line can be found at some of the most prestigious private clubs, retailers and resorts.

Birdy & Grace is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut. For more information, visit www.birdyandgrace.com.
