Victory Ranch Club and OB Sports recently appointed Steve Hupe as the Director of Golf. Hupe is responsible for all golf operations, membership services, sales, merchandising, and tournaments for this Rees Jones-designed course that was honored by Golfweek as one of the top ten “Best New Courses in The Country.”

Hupe is a twenty-eight year PGA of America member and is a Park City resident. Prior to joining Victory Ranch, Steve was the Director of Golf at Promontory Ranch Club in Park City, Utah. In addition, Steve was a twenty-seven year associate for Marriott International where he held various golf professional positions at Camelback Inn and Golf Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona; Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona; Marriott’s Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Kentucky; Fossil Creek Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas; Marriott’s Orlando World Center Resort in Orlando, Florida and Stone Mountain Golf Club in Georgia.

During the course of his career, Steve has been instrumental in winning fourteen Top 100 Golf Shops in America awards as well as being honored as a PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year nine times in three different PGA of America sections. He was also honored with the Kentucky Section’s, Horton Smith Award in 1993 for his contributions to section education, was named one of the 25 Best Merchandisers in the Country in 2005 by GolfWorld Business magazine and was awarded Marriott Golf’s Professional of the Year (1990 & 2000).

Located only 17 miles southeast of Park City, Utah, Victory Ranch boasts a par 72, Rees Jones-design that is situated atop a plateau and offers endless 360 degree views of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains, Deer Valley Ski Resort, and the Jordanelle Reservoir. For the first time, Victory Ranch announced the course will be available for daily fee play via the club’s new unaccompanied “club guest” program. Tee times are available in advance for club guests at a rate of $150 per player, which includes greens fees, practice balls prior to play and shared golf car rental.
