New General Manager named to Blackstone Country Club

Blackstone Country Club in Vistancia has named William Griffon as general manager.

Griffon, who started Dec. 12, is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the private club featuring upscale amenities including an award-winning golf course designed by Jim Engh and the 30,000-square-foot Hacienda Clubhouse with a fitness center, variety of dining amenities, three pools and lighted tennis courts.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience to the club, Griffon served as vice president of operations at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, was general manager at The Lodge at Sea Island in Sea Island, Georgia, and previously worked in various management and customer service positions for 13 years with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation throughout the United States.

For the past four years, he has been a hospitality consultant in Asheville, N.C. for such upscale properties as Inspirato in Denver and The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana.

Blackstone is a 540-acre community offering a selection of luxury builder homes and custom home sites. It is located just four miles west of the new Loop 303 stretch at Happy Valley Parkway and west of Lake Pleasant Parkway.
