Sleep America Charities announces Seventh Biennial Golf Tournament at ASU Karsten

Sleep America Charities President, Debbie Gaby, is announced the Seventh Biennial Golf Tournament, to be held at ASU Karsten Golf Course on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Teeing off at 7:30 a.m., avid golfers should expect to register soon for this sell-out tournament benefiting The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock.

The activities for the day will include a raffle, lunch, various activities on and off the course, including closest to the pin, longest drive, and meeting charities face to face.

Alice Cooper will be in attendance at the golf tournament, playing in a lucky foursome to generate additional dollars benefiting the charities.  Alice and Sheryl Cooper will be honored as the Philanthropists of the Year. Al McCoy, Voice of the Phoenix Suns, will emcee the event as well as serve as Honorary Chair.

Sleep America Charities is dedicated to improving the quality of life for others by providing assistance, support and other resources to deserving Valley charities and organizations in need. Past Sleep America Charities beneficiaries include Make-A-Wish Foundation, Save the Family, Arizona Stars/AZ Youth Development, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald house, Sojourner Center, and Florence Crittenton.
