Gifts For the Golfer in Your Life

As a golfer, along with my dad and brother-in-law, I always ponder what to buy them for Christmas. I want to get them golf related stuff, but what don’t they already and what do they want? Well, here are a few suggestions to help you out for the golfer in your life.

Lessons – Every golfer needs a “tweak” to their game every so often or they just straight out need to improve. They will definitely appreciate this gift and here are a few options you can do:

1)  Book an individual lesson at the local golf course. If that’s your route, consider buying a series of lessons so they can get the most for their golf game. You will also get a discount the more lessons you buy. (Secret – if you have 2 golfers in your life, purchase a lesson for 2 pp instead of just one, the rate goes down).

2)  You can purchase a “golf weekend” at a well-known school or golf resort like Pinehurst or TPC Scottsdale and the TOUR Academy. They have great offerings for schools that make a great gift.

Clubfitting – Fitting your golf clubs to your swing is one of the least utilized gifts. The golfer will reap rewards from his golf game once he gets his clubs fitted to his particular swing. Most clubs are off-the-rack, and in golf, one size does not fit all. Cool Clubs located in Scottsdale is a great company to use for all your club fitting needs. Your golfer will be jumping for joy when he opens this gift.

Golf Vacation –
What better way to enjoy golf than going on a vacation! There a ton of great places to go, especially if you are on a budget. Myrtle Beach, Orlando, and of course, Phoenix/Scottsdale are places you are not going to go wrong with for golf.  Time it right and your golf vacation will be a steal!

Golf Balls – Okay, don’t laugh but golfers never have enough golf balls and it’s always nice when we have a little “stash” we can grab and go with. It’s like shoes for women… can golfers ever have enough golf balls?

Happy Holidays to everyone and I’ll see ya in the New Year!
