Situated within the spectacular vistas of Fountain Hills, yet just 20 minutes from Scottsdale Road and Shea, FireRock Country Club is a private facility whose membership thrives on its inviting ambiance.

More than just a country club, members don’t need to live inside the gates of the community to qualify for membership at FireRock, and the myriad of amenities resonates with members of any age.

The Gary Panks championship golf course earned the honor of “Best New Golf Course” by the Arizona Republic when it opened. Carved with meticulous care from the natural terrain, FireRock offers its members a pristine, desert layout that is a superb test for the highly-skilled golfer, yet also a playable layout for the rest of those who simply love the game. The natural beauty of the golf course features undulating fairways weaving around canyon washes, elevated tee boxes that unveil spectacular scenery of unspoiled landscape and challenging greens for golfers of every handicap.

“In a market like ours, incredible courses are abundant, so a club must create memorable experiences for their members to really stand out,” says Tim Geesey, the new General Manager. “What makes FireRock distinctive is our engaging approach to not only our golf experience, but also with our activities and dining. It’s an overall environment of fun and wellness that enriches the lives of our membership.”

Geesey is no stranger to the country club experience in the Phoenix area. Prior to a five-year stint at Silverado Country Club in Napa, he spent three years as General Manager at Ocotillo Golf Resort and was the GM at Seville Golf and Country Club from 2003-2007. Today, he’s excited to be back in the Valley of the Sun, and at FireRock. “These members display a love and excitement for the club that is contagious, and I believe that our facilities match our membership very well,” added Geesey.

FireRock’s Food and Beverage Director, Daemion Glantz, and Executive Chef Graham Zanow serve up culinary creations that can satisfy any discerning palate. Leaning on his recent stint at Silverado in Napa Valley, Geesey plans to work with Glantz and Zanow and lead the club’s expansion of FireFit (FireRock’s customized program built on the foundation of TroonFIT), by bringing in some exciting new food and wine selections, which will also ultimately enhance the overall programming.

With a balance of golf, dining, fitness, swimming, and tennis, FireRock represents what every great private country club should provide its members: Ambiance, outstanding service and attention to detail, magnificent golf course and fun activities. The spectacular setting of Fountain Hills is close enough to be accessible, but unique enough to have its own vibe. In addition, FireRock is now member owned and proudly managed by Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon. Qualified members now have access to other exclusive private clubs through Troon Privé Privilege and up to 50% off at Troon-managed resort and daily courses around the globe.

In the end, members are content with creating and nurturing friendships through not only the physical activities at the club, but at the daily happy hours in the lounge, indoor/outdoor dining, or just relaxing on the deck taking in the panoramic vistas.

Fun, friends, FireRock isn’t just a saying at this club. Whether they live inside the gates of the community, nearby in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, or the Southeast Valley, or have second and third homes in the Midwest or Canada, FireRock is “home” in Arizona. And they wouldn’t want it any other way.
