Scottsdale Golf Place “Indoor Golf at it’s Best”

Scottsdale’s first dedicated indoor Golf Practice Facility opens

Scott Hart and Bruce McNee are two PGA Professionals who had a dream that came into fruition in June, 2012 with the opening of Scottsdale Golf Place located at 8480 E Butherus, Suite 102 in Scottsdale, Arizona. With 4100 square feet, the indoor golf facility has a combination of full golf simulation, individual and group lessons with c Swing video and Zelocity launch monitors, league play, junior clinics, club fitting and private business functions. It also boasts a 700 square foot chipping and putting area for lessons and practice. Memberships allowing full access to the facility and including a free lesson every month will also be offered.

The golf simulators are from X Golf and are the most technologically advanced simulators in the world. The ability to play such courses as Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Harbour Town and Bethpage, in the comfort of air conditioning is a treat but the amazing features of the X Golf Simulators will forever change the way people view simulated golf. On an outdoor golf course, you don’t always have a level lie. In X Golf, the exclusive X Plate system detects the ground slope and automatically adjusts the floor under your feet to match the terrain of the golf course. You can also manually adjust the slope to practice uphill, downhill and side hill lies. Another great feature of X Golf is that there is no more walking around to gather the balls. The X Ball system gathers the ball for you, puts it on the tee and you are ready to go. During the game it remembers each player’s preferred tee height so that you feel like you have your own caddy setting up each shot for you. This feature saves time and lets you focus on the fun of playing golf.

According to Scott Hart, “It takes about an hour for one person to play 18 holes so if two golf buddies want to stop in after work for a quick 9 holes at Pebble Beach they could do so in just one hour.” Total outlay for the experience is under $35. The already reasonable price can be split by up to 4 people and makes the Scottsdale Golf Place an affordable and fun option for friends and family to get out of the heat and enjoy some recreation.

Scottsdale Golf Place will feature lessons from PGA and LPGA professionals as well as affordable monthly and annual memberships. There is no other facility in the Metropolitan Phoenix area that offers this type of experience and Bruce McNee observed, “Scott and I are either the two dumbest people in this city of 4.3 million people or we are visionaries that will start a trend of providing fun and affordable golf experiences and game improvement programs indoors where the weather is perfect everyday.”
